The BTR-152 was a Soviet 6×6 armored personnel carrier produced from 1950 to 1959, widely used by the Soviet Army and exported to allied nations during the Cold War era, known for being one of the first Soviet APCs to enter mass production and for its open-topped design that made it vulnerable to modern anti-tank weapons. It saw service in various conflicts throughout the 1950s and 1960s before being gradually replaced by more advanced vehicles like the BTR-60.
