The Bristol Beaufort was a British twin-engine torpedo bomber aircraft used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied forces during World War II, serving from 1940 to 1945 as a primary anti-shipping and coastal patrol aircraft. It is remembered for its role in maritime warfare, particularly in attacking German shipping and U-boats in the Mediterranean and North Sea theaters.
