The Beriev MBR-2 was a Soviet reconnaissance and light bombing flying boat that served with the Soviet Navy from the 1930s through World War II, known for its versatility in maritime patrol, reconnaissance, and anti-submarine operations across Soviet coastal waters and inland waterways. The aircraft became one of the most widely produced Soviet flying boats of the era, valued for its reliability and ability to operate from water surfaces in remote regions.
