The Bell YFM-1 Airacuda was an experimental fighter aircraft developed by Bell Aircraft Corporation in the late 1930s, notable for its innovative twin-boom design and centrally-mounted cannon armament. Though promising in concept, the aircraft saw limited production and service during World War II, ultimately proving less effective than conventional fighter designs and remaining one of aviation's most distinctive but unsuccessful experimental fighters.
