The Avia B-534 was a Czechoslovak single-engine fighter aircraft that served primarily during the 1930s and early 1940s, notable for being one of the most advanced fighter designs of its era and seeing action during the German invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1939. It is remembered as a significant interwar fighter that represented Czechoslovak aviation capability and was operated by several air forces, including those of Romania and Bulgaria, throughout World War II.
