The Austro-Daimler Panzerwagen was an early armored car developed by Austria-Hungary in 1905, representing one of the first attempts at mechanized armored warfare with its steel plating and machine gun armament. Though produced in limited numbers, it saw service during the Balkan Wars and World War I, establishing Austria-Hungary as a pioneer in armored vehicle design.
