The Aichi E13A "Jake" was a Japanese reconnaissance floatplane used extensively by the Imperial Navy during World War II, serving from 1941 onwards as one of the most widely produced Japanese seaplanes of the war. It was known for its long-range reconnaissance capabilities and became infamous for its role in spotting Allied naval forces, including participation in operations throughout the Pacific Theater.
