The A7V-U was a German tank developed in 1918 as an improved version of the A7V, featuring enhanced armor protection and a more powerful gun, though it saw limited service in World War I due to its late development. It is remembered as one of the earliest tanks to see combat and represents Germany's efforts to counter Allied armored vehicles during the final year of the war.
